An experienced Head Pastry Chef is sought to work at a prestigious landmark venue in central London for a leading contract caterer. Paying 38k per annum the role is 45 hours a week with some weekends depending on special events in the calendar. Candidate must have experience in fine dining banqueting and be able to demonstrate a great attitude and be able to deputise in the Head Chefs absence. Must be passionate about food and have experience of large banqueting numbers and above all be a solid team player.

Key Duties:

- Supervise all phases of pastry food production.
- Carry full responsibility for food quality and service from the pastry area.
- Prepare, supervise and cook on Pastry section.
- Oversee all food production by Pastry associates.
- Check and regulate food items for use in record accuracy and quality control.
- Provide and successfully implement new menus together with Sous Chef.

- Create user records, tastings and menu costings before launching new menu items.
