EMEA Financial Reporting Manager
As a global leader within the Property Services sector, this established group provides market leading, end-to-end solutions and "best in class" investor services to an international client portfolio. A high profile and complex EMEA transformation programme and integration project, following a merger of two large businesses, has created an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to undertake a EMEA Financial Reporting Manager a Financial Reporting Lead role.
Supporting the EMEA business, you will be responsible for owning the month, quarter and year-end close and consolidation process, EMEA compliance with group policy and preparation of internal, regulatory and statutory reporting. Your brief includes:
•Supporting provision of internal & external financial reporting; maintaining financial control & integrity
•Own & drive the management of month, quarter & year-end close processes ensuring controls compliance
•Working alongside the BPO to deliver key month end close activities including consolidation, Balance sheet reconciliations, allocations, journals, PL& and balance sheet reviews
•Ensuring compliance with Group & local accounting policies, government regulations & legislation
•Identifying & recommending systems & process improvements
•Supporting the management of EMEA statutory & regulatory accounts & audit processes
•Business partnering with Finance, Legal & HR functions on accounting policy & procedure alignment
•Supporting delivery of best practice in accounting & external financial reporting for EMEA region
As a qualified accountant with a strong track record of robust financial control & month process management and financial reporting, gained within an EMEA or international environment, you will demonstrate experience of business partnering and influencing key stakeholders, a proven ability to translate financial data into commercial language and evidence of leadership within a BPO or retained Financial Shared Service model.
