An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Apprentice in Essex!

Who you`ll work for:

You will be required to help manage the service desk to ensure all support calls are dealt with in a professional manner and within the designated time. You will be required to log tickets and assign an engineer, and where possible, deal with that ticket as your experience grows. From time to time, you could be asked to work during an evening or weekend.

As an IT Support Apprentice your job includes:

- Check client backups daily
- Answer support calls and log as tickets
- Where possible, deal with each ticket or assign to another available engineer
- Ensure your assigned tickets are meeting SLA`s
- Assist another engineer with their work
- Attend client sites when required*
- Update or close all tickets assigned to you at the end of each day
- Complete all apprenticeship coursework
- Attend training as required and develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills

Overtime and annual bonus is available

What experience and skills do I need?

You don`t need loads of professional experience in IT. However, you`ll need at least five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above including Maths, English and IT / Science.
