Job Outline:

I am now recruiting for a market leading distributor of Optical and Photonics components. Due to recent growth, an opportunity has arisen for a technically astute sales manager to help grow their Components Division
Working closely with the Divisional manager, you will be responsible for expanding my client’s Optoelectronic Components Division.

The role will place an emphasis on facilitating growth for the division, though identifying new marks, strategic customers and potential suppliers.
As the commercial lead for the components department, you will secure new business opportunities and further develop relationships with suppliers. You will manage the day to day activity of the department, setting targets and mentoring the team.

You will support all sales activity by developing a marketing strategy for the Components Division, assisting with organising and visiting trade shows, seminars and conducting online promotions.

This role is open to candidates who are currently engaged in similar responsibilities, or business development and account managers who have had experience in a managerial position.

Qualifications & Experience:

The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Physics or a related scientific/engineering subject.

Past sales experience within the opto-electronic industry is essential.

Additional Information:

Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK.
Candidates MUST hold a full UK driving licence.
