I am currently looking for a Sales Manager to be responsible for sales growth in line with the company 5 years strategic Plan.

You will be responsible for the development of new and existing customers defined by the marketing strategy, whilst being responsible for supporting all commercial & marketing activities within the sales & marketing department.

Develop world-class levels of performance and customer satisfaction through use of the company's tools and techniques and by effective team working and continuous improvement, you will co-ordinate activities to deliver product right first time, fully compliant with customer and legislative specifications to the highest quality standards (zero PPM) using the most efficient processes.

Your Principal Accountabilities & Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to

* Establishing new and maintaining existing relationships with targeted customers
* Support the Business Development Managers with visits, quotations and major bids
* Travelling within the UK and overseas to visit existing and potential clients
* Managing and interpreting customer requirements
* Negotiating tender and contract terms
* Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions
* Offering after-sales support services
* Analysing costs and sales
* Meeting annual sales targets
* Recording and maintaining client contact data including visit reports
* Co-ordinating sales projects
* Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
* Making technical presentations and demonstrating how the company's process will meet client needs
* Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product feasibility
* Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical departments
* Solving client problems including introduction of new products and materials
* Providing market intelligence and producing support material for the sales team
* Active participation in strategic initiatives

You will have a solid technical background, ideally within precision manufacturing for the automotive or aerospace industries - along with a sales background dealing with stampings, pressings, assemblies and prototyping
