Our client a leading manufacturer within its field are now looking to recruit an Internal Sales Person due to continued growth to join their successful team based in the Cardiff.

Role/Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for effectively generating and coordinating business development to include the following duties:

* Pro-actively update the sales forecast in conjunction with the internal and external sales team.
* Provide support to the sales team as and when required.
* Liaise with external sales teams to update on leads.
* Ensure the sales forecast is accurately updated on a daily basis.
* To generate and qualify leads.
* Maintain regular contact with potential customers with a view to growing the business.
* Use of various tools to generate leads including internet, market research, word of mouth and cold calling.
* Maintaining a constant relationship with external sales partners
* Pass appropriate technical enquiries to relevant personnel.
* Follow up with Sales team on progression made from leads generated.

Skills/Qualifications:
* A proven track record within an Internal Sales role
* Previous experience using CRM systems.
* Ideal candidate will have a background with the manufacturing industry.
* Excellent telephone manner
* Competitive and target driven
* Excellent computer literacy skills including knowledge of all Microsoft packages.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with potential clients at all levels.
* The ability to work under pressure
* A results orientated person
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Good attention to detail
