The Company
Design and manufacture innovative electro-mechanical equipment, exported globally.

The Role
Due to expansion within the Company, there is an immediate requirement for a Purchasing Coordinator, to handle the Group procurement process, including invoice tracking ( to completion on Supplier side), materials planning, MRP (structuring products), pricing (procurement), together with understanding of Quality procedures. To be successful in this role you need to have strong administration skills as well as rounded knowledge of MRP systems, together with attention to detail.
This role could be accommodated initially by a candidate available for part-time employment, to fit in with children schooling, or 3 days per week, for example.

The Candidate
You should have excellent communication skills, together with industry exposure within engineering and/or production environment. Proven ability of purchasing materials through current suppliers required to complete the manufacturing process including purchase order to invoice matching. Your duties will also include administration, utilising the organisations internal Database and MRP system (ideally SAGE Manufacturing + Accounts experience, but must have equivalent MRP/MRPii experience as the successful candidate will become the resident expert) - product structure and inventory.

The Package
The minimum pay rate for this role is £12 per hour. However, the client may pay up to £12.80 per hour for a candidate who can meet all key requirements and abilities
