We are urgently looking for an experienced 2nd Line IT Desk Side Support Engineer to support our client, an award winning, ITIL aligned ICT department based in Bangor, North Wales. This is a 3 month contract and will involve travel around North Wales, a pool car is available for this purpose so the successful candidate will require a full, clean driving license.

The post will sit in the IT Service Management Team which is circa 60 staff split over two main locations in Bangor and Cardiff, with a presence in other locations.

In this role you will;

- Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support and adhere to all service management principles
- Have control of equipment issued and maintain accurate records within the appropriate asset management system
- Be responsible for the maintenance of all ICT equipment and software after the network point within the North Wales region.
- Use SCCM and SCSM to administer assets and service/Incident requests
- Work in collaboration with other ICT resolver groups
- Participate in the rollout of PC, laptop and printer replacement programmes (including asset management & quality assurance) under guidance from the DSS Team Leader.
- Travel to sites across North Wales

Skills and Experience;

- Experience in working in a Microsoft driven environment
- Ability to Diagnose ICT hardware and software faults and implement solutions
- Experience using Microsoft SCCM and SCSM
- Experience supporting a variety of tablets, laptops and desktops
- Windows 7, Outlook 2010 , Active Directory, Exchange Server
- Experience working in a ITIL environment
