An exciting opportunity has arisen with a global ICT business who are looking to hire a Senior Account Manager to focus on selling ICT solutions into Telco Operator customers the UK.

The ideal candidate will have experience of successfully selling some of the following technologies into UK Operator customers;

* IP/Optical Networks
* IT (Server/Storage/CloudOS)
* Fixed & Mobile Core Network
* TV Platform

The main responsibilities include:
* Identify, develop and close key sales opportunities with a major UK Operator customer
* Build and maintain C-level executive relationships
* Create detailed sector business plan & strategy and execute against implementation plan consistent with business goals
* Sales management of pipeline opportunities, account planning and CRM for Key customers
* Develop, mentor and coach sales individuals including performance management within team
* Work with and influence all other UK cross matrix functional teams to ensure successful delivery/deployment of projects
* Active contribution and participation within the UK Senior Management Team forums
* Manage and coordinate key activities between the business and the customer. Promote the full range of solutions to defined customers.
* Produce and deliver formal business proposals and presentations into targeted customer base.
* Create and present customer proposals and quotations where applicable.
* Create co-operative business plans with customers and their partners and help to define new business models to drive growth.
* Lead, monitor and manage all the new customers related business delivered successfully.

Experience:
* Preferred work experience in UK Telecommunications or ICT industry.
* Demonstrate ability to develop new business models for customers with 4G, Broadband, IT and telecommunication new technology.
* Demonstrate ability to manage customer accounts at both the CxO and technical level.
* Ability to establish brands, explore product opportunities, work out customer product competitive strategies and competitive plans.
* Detailed knowledge of local carrier business models and service management strategies.
