IT Service Desk Analysts  (Night Shifts)            to 19k    Daresbury, Warrington

We are looking for Service Desk Analysts to work the night shift on a 4 nights on, 4 nights off basis. You will need some previous experience of working within a support desk, have windows technology and enjoy a customer focused role.

Summary of role:

- The Night Shift will complete Pro-Active Checks which will involve following Knowledgebase instruction and creating tickets for failures for the day shift to review.

- As Service Desk Analyst will analyse a small number of incoming customer support tickets and obtain the required information from the customer & from the team in order to resolve the issue within the service level agreement.
- Undertake initial diagnosis of tickets obtaining all necessary information from the customer.
- Resolve customer issues within service level guidelines, obtaining assistance from 2nd line as required.
- If unable to resolve, responsible for escalating using internal processes.

Skills Required:

Some experience in support desk role. Evidence / understanding of working knowledge of appropriate technology/skills:

- Microsoft Active Directory
- Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of basic networking (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN)
- Strong Communication Skills (Verbal and written)
- Problem solving skills

Other Working Requirements:

- 38 hours per week shift based role.
- Driving license essential
