A market leading transportation technology business, with offices around the globe are looking to build out their UK function, recruiting a number of people into an already established unit, with the current focus being a Hardware & Integration Engineer.

Being a leading provide of technology and product services to the rail industry, you’ll be working in an innovative and forward thinking team, working with cutting edge technology. The Hardware & Integration Engineer will be working in a project based role, designing systems and conducting system integrations, whilst also undertaking some support duties.

The Hardware & Integration Engineer will have the following responsibilities:

• Design activities; Hardware.
• Interface specifications drafting.
• System integration.
• Provide technical support.
• Conduct trial projects.
• FEA Analysis.
• Manage and coordinate warranty requests and material returns.
• Installation of Mechanical and electrical equipment.

As a Hardware & Integration Engineer, you will ideally have the following experience:

• FEA Analysis.
• Rail background.
• Designing of hardware.
• Building Windows images.
• Electrical engineering.
• Software and hardware background.
• ATO systems.
• Sensors/Antenna’s.
• Telco/networking knowledge.
• Fluent French speaker.
• Prepare documentation records such as status reports, punch lists describing work items.
