Our client is currently recruiting for a Marketing Executive ( Marcomms) based in Reading.

Supporting the Senior Marketing Manager, they will be responsible for raising profile internally and externally across a range of marketing channels includings comms, media, and events.

Working with the Senior Marketing Manager you will be looking for ways to increase visibility for the company in their target market areas, their core service offerings their main UK regional locations. It will your responsibility to ensure our client has a strong presence at key client/industry events and help build a solid pipeline of networking opportunities to help meet business goals.

The role:

* Owning the events plan for the company and forward planning quarter by quarter and industry event organiser relationships.
* Overseeing the creation and delivery of all related marketing materials to support each event - speaker slots, sponsorship, advertising, merchandise etc.
* Helping to organise the annual national key client.
* Maintaining key client contact data for national most valuable and most growable clients.
* Organising the Practice's awards programme on an annual basis and working with stakeholders to best position them and leading on national awards and supporting regional or service-specific award submissions.
* Maintaining the events section and the awards section of the Brand centre to ensure easy access to key content.
* Supporting the internal comms strategy with project and people stories for our intranet.
* Ensuring excellent support to the wider marketing team and collaborative working on larger marketing projects.
* Managing incoming enquiries into the marketing team mailbox on a daily basis.

The person:

* Bachelor's degree preferable
* 2-3 years' general marketing experience
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
* Excellent organisational, data management and events logistics skills
* Events experience, preferably in a B2B environment would be a plus
* Excellent MS Office skills
* Able to work well with stakeholders across all levels of the Practice and with external suppliers
