My client is recruiting for a Business Development Executive to join their small, busy and growing training company.

This is a new role for my client, so the new team member will have an excellent opportunity to really make their mark. The role offers a high level of autonomy and responsibility with a real chance to grow and develop the position.

As Business Development Executive your key duties will be:
• Sourcing and contacting new clients
• Arranging and carrying out client visits (you would be managing your own diary)
• Negotiating and securing contract
• Attending trade exhibitions and conferences
• Account management of existing clients to ensure repeat business
• Reviewing sales performance
• Ensuring monthly and annual sales and margin targets are met

Key skills required:
• Proven track record in securing new business is essential
• Excellent interpersonal skills – telephone and face to face
• Strong commercial awareness
• Tenacious
• Strong ‘can do’ attitude
• Confident and approachable
• Good presentation skills
• Good PC and numeracy skills

Hours of work: Monday – Friday, you will be working 37.5 hours/week (with some flexibility to cover site visits where required)
Holidays: 20 days + bank holidays
Mileage and accommodation costs (where necessary) will be covered by the employer
