We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Sales Operations Manager to head up the sales team for one of our key clients, a leading global online advertising brand within Capita Plc based in Leeds. The main focus of the role will be to develop, lead and manage the sales teams to achieve month on month sales targets. Drive a sales culture and work closely with the teams to deliver an effective and profitable operational unit on behalf of the client in line with commercial and contractual agreements.

What you will do:

* Full P&L accountability and responsibility.
* Drive and embed a true sales culture.
* Manage and improve client relationships to maximise our sales opportunities.
* Motivate and effectively performance manage allocated Team Managers within the unit to ensure delivery of the unit business plan.
* Constantly review the operation and KPIs to success for an ever-evolving client.
* Selecting, managing and coaching Team Managers.
* Working with the Recruitment and L&D Team, define specific recruitment and training needs.
* Ensuring accurate payroll management and minimising administration errors and overpayments.
* Execute a well-defined Communication and Engagement model in place to ensure all their teams understand the performance of our business and that they understand the needs of their teams.
* In line with the agreed Capita framework, deliver succession planning to ensure key roles are filled and individual talent is recognised.
* Instil Capita and client specific cultural values and behaviours.
* Ensure delivery of Client KPIs including:

1.Day to day sales targets exceeded.

2.Customer experience, quality measures and compliance measures.

3.Manage and develop the operational client relationships.

* Conducting operational client review meetings and day to day ops liaison within key work stream.
* Being an active member of the Client steering Group.

Achieve the unit commercial targets by:

* Responsible for the managing of the direct variable cost.
* Maximise the opportunity for BP revenues.
* Achieving productivity targets, including attendance and attrition.
* Working with Planning and Finance to determine appropriate staffing levels for the service or unit.
* The continuous identification and implementation of operational best practice through interaction with the wider Capita team.
* The operational delivery of short, medium and long term strategic plans in line with the relevant Client Area and Capita's business goals.
* Deliver measures and targets to be agreed by Lead OM/GM for each specific unit
* Ensuring all appropriate compliance requirements are met.

Your experience will include:

* Sales leadership of over 30 FTE
* Previous sales experience within either digital or advertising is preferred.
* Direct and indirect sales experience an advantage.
* Proven successful track record of exceeding targets.
* Qualified by experience.
* Good people management skills.
* Customer service excellence/sales/call centre experience essential.
* Excellent analytical, decision making and problem solving abilities.
* Product knowledge desirable.
* Relationship management and communication skills.
* Influencing, political and sales skills.
* Sales experience and techniques.
* Budget Expenditure within work stream.
* Quality performance standards.
* Organisational / sales and productivity objectives.
* Client Escalation/Business Continuity.
