Job Title: Credit Control Team Leader
Reporting to: Head of Finance

Company overview
A market leader in the provision of Integrated Stores and Supply Chain Management Solutions for Blue Chip Companies in the UK and Europe, IESA is seeking an experienced Credit Control Team Leader to work in our busy shared services centre based in Warrington.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the Finance team for our blue chip customer base.

Role Overview
This is a role responsible for understanding issues that may arise with Blue Chip client payments and effectively managing and resolving these queries - to facilitate payment - in a timely and professional manner.

The purpose of this role is to work as an integral component of the Credit Control Team. In addition to the hands-on responsibilities of being a member of the Credit Control Team this Team Lead role involves the added responsibilities of allocating, coordinating, measuring and supervising the work of the Credit Control Team.

Job Description
As Credit Control Team Lead the successful candidate will:

* Allocate, coordinate, and measure the work of the Credit Control Team across themselves and the other Credit Control team members: and the continued supervision of the team's work from start to finish.
* Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner.
* Liaising with customers over timings of payments, provide timely and accurate information on billing queries and resolving any issues arising.
* Working closely with Customer Relationship Management colleagues as well as other members of the finance team so that credit account issues and queries are resolved smoothly.
* Using Excel to reconcile client accounts
* Matching Invoices to credits
* Maintain accurate records of all debt chasing activity / responses
* Active Participation in the weekly aged debt collection meetings.

Personal Specification

* Proven experience in coordination, allocation, measurement and supervision of team work.
* Possess strong Excel skills: proven use of office IT systems and applications.
* Experience of working in a credit control role within a medium to large sized business.
* High level of interpersonal and written communication skills: team player with the ability to effectively work with senior business and technical stakeholders, and able to manage own time.
* Experience of electronic invoicing, debt review and working in a heavily KPI targeted environment.
* Essential to be proactive and inquisitive, possess high levels of drive and determination to meet tight deadlines, demonstrate a methodical approach to organising their own work and be able to efficiently prioritise work assignments.
* Must be numerate and literate: with a strong attention to detail.
* A good telephone manner.
* Must be able to work independently and act on their own initiative after receiving appropriate direction.
* SAP experience (desirable but not essential).

CICM studier desirable, QBE background in credit control.

8.00am to 5pm Monday to Friday
