Job role: Business Development Manager

Salary: £21,200 + £4800 car allowance plus commission

Job Type: Permanent - to start ASAP

Location: Birmingham

Duties:

* Develop and manage own sales pipeline and prospects
* Attend prospect events
* Self- generation of 3 sales appointments per day minimum of 15 appointments per week to be achieved
* Understand the companies product portfolio in order to match the appropriate membership level
* The ability to create and analyse prospect data in order to identify potential member opportunities
* The target specific business segments in order to generate new members
* Assessing business needs and identifying how membership benefits can contribute effectively
* Understanding the complexity of the buying process, managing the process and closing the sale
* Professional objection handling to achieve set targets
* Ability to influence potential members and how best to utilise their membership
* Effective decision making in terms of segmenting and targeting to achieve individual revenue target
* Selection and assessment of the most appropriate support and direction to achieve income targets
* Ability to identify and implement recruitment opportunities outside of the tried and tested method
* The ability to create and analyse prospect data in order to identify potential member opportunities
* The target specific business segments in order to generate new members
* Assessing business needs and identifying how membership benefits can contribute effectively
* Understanding the complexity of the buying process, managing the process and closing the sale
* Professional objection handling to achieve set targets

If that sounds like your sort of thing, you will have:

* 3 years successful field sales experience
* Must have a full UK driving licence
* The ability to manage time effectively at all times
* SFEDI Accredited
* Experience of selling a service based product
* Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective and sustainable business relationships
* A professional, results orientated and adaptable approach
* Ability to influence and manage expectations
* Negotiation skills and the ability to influence decision making
* Proficient IT skills - Microsoft Office
