Service Account Manager

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Service Account manager. Our client is an independently owned international corporation, offering an established and effective range of power protection products, services and sells to a very broad spectrum of industries and sectors. This role will provide progression opportunities for the right candidate.

This is a proactive role, where you will be required to generate new service business from existing site information and find new opportunities. It is important the right candidate has strong IT, and communication skills both written and verbally.


All aspects of Account and New Business Service sales opportunity development, and closing.
Successful in meeting/over achieving sales targets and goals set by the company over a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Delivery of professional sales presentations; proposal/tender writing responses, and demonstrations.
Ensuring customer retention and working with these customers ensuring further development in the customer’s sites.
Accurate sales forecasting.
Contact and develop service contract opportunities from existing sites
Contact and develop Battery replacements and remedial work opportunities from existing sites
Contact and develop other service sales opportunities in the UK market
Develop the sales opportunities for the remote monitoring system in the UK and International market.
To ensure that the company’s profile and image is maintained at the highest standard at all times.
To perform any other duties as instructed from time to time by any Director of the company or by the Sales Managers.
Personal Specification

Proven sales track record of achieving targets, goals, and objectives in a highly competitive environment.
Experience and knowledge of selling/working in the Public & Private Sectors
Experience in Key Account Management
Strong written, listening and oral communication sales skills.
An ability to form strong and mutually beneficial business relationships with customers.
A tenacious, highly energised and motivated individual, with a high level of commitment and passion for achieving levels of service excellence.
A result driven focus with good business judgement.
A good commercial understanding.
An understanding of Sales Methodologies
Excellent communication skills, consultative approach and able to influence others to support objectives.
Solution orientated with a positive, can-do attitude.
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Salary £16-£20K per annum
