Housing Buyer to work within the commercial team of a UK leading Principle Residential Developer.

Your new company
My client are looking to recruit a buyer to join their Commercial team based in West Yorkshire. They are one of the UK's leading new build housing developers with an excellent reputation for building a variety of homes ranging from bespoke 5 star houses to Affordable homes to satisfy all customers within each offices local proximity.

Your new role
As a buyer within a stable commercial team, you will be responsible for the procurement of all materials, labour and plant in order to ensure the business output programme is carried out effectively within budget.

Housing experience is desired as you will be required to prepare material schedules from house type drawings. Also placing orders for hiring any plant such as forklifts, dumpers etc and maintaining plant register.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this post you will ideally have previous experience within buying, procurement and supply chain within a residential environment. You will have a strong network of sub contractors and material suppliers to help negotiate and place orders for labour and materials.
