Situated in a rural, yet picturesque area of Perthshire, this stunning country house style property has maintained a number of its original features whilst offering a modern hospitality experience. Offering a variety of accommodation, F&B, events and leisure options, there is enough going on at the hotel to ensure every day at work is different.

The Job and You…

The successful Events Manager will work closely with the GM and Senior Management , ensuring all events are planned, co-ordinated and executed to the expected premier standards. Key responsibilities will include:-

·Liaise and communicate with all hotel departments, in regards to guest needs,

·Supervise other members of the events team, including recruitment & development,

·Convert enquiries into sales and bookings, ensuring maximum revenue achieved,

·Pro-actively sell the hotel’s facilities and offerings,

·Deal with customer feedback, after sales care and customer records,

·Ensure all admin duties are undertaken in an organised and professional manner.

To be considered, candidates should have an excellent background in Hotel or Venue Events, within a similar level establishment, either as a manager or co-ordinator.

Attention to detail is vital within the role, along with excellent organisational skills and administration know-how. The ability to be a self-starter, proactive and work alone is also essential.

As the role is guest facing and first point of contact with potential clients, applicants must have a warm and engaging personality, first class communication skills and immaculate presentation.

The Events Manager could on occasion be required to visit clients off-site, so access to own transport is recommended.

Role is 5/7 days, including weekends. Normal working hours are between 9pm and 6pm, however evenings may be required on occasion.
