We are looking to recruit a permanent Deputy Headteacher for an SEN School IMMEDIATELY. You MUST have at least 5 years experience recently in Senior Leadership at an SEN school otherwise we cannot consider you.

Lynx Education has just recruited the new Head who is hoping to appoint someone immediately or at the very latest September. You must have SEN experience in a leadership capacity.

The school says:

"Our school has three departments; primary from 3 to 11, secondary department aged 11 to 16 and the 6th form age 16 to 19. Each department has its own distinct uniform and individual nature but all three departments have one thing in common, they are all happy.

We believe that each child has the right to quality education, care and guidance, and that families are supported in meeting children's needs. We believe in providing a trouble free environment, we listen to children and parents, and we value everyone's contribution to school life.

We are a community SEN school for 119 pupils aged 3-19 years with severe learning difficulties with some pupils having additional needs. Our new school opened in September 2008, as part of the restructuring of special schools.

The new building opened to pupils in January 2009 and offers a wide range of specialist learning areas and outdoor play areas. All the staff have high expectations of the children and themselves, and work in partnership to ensure each child becomes a confident, talented learner.

If you would like to have a discussion about this role please call Alisdair ASAP.

If you don’t already have a current/valid DBS, you will need to apply for a new one through Lynx Education.

Please be aware that if you don’t hear back from one of the consultants at Lynx Education within a week of applying for this position, you have not been successful this time. Due to the high amount of responses we get to our job advertisements, we are unable to respond to everyone. Thank you for your time and interest in this post
