My client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of ticketing and payment equipment which is used in car parking facilities for Local Authorities, airports, conference centres, hotels and shopping centres. This well respected organisation has been supplying this marketplace for decades, establishing and nurturing long term relationships with a customer base at the forefront of technology.

The Role - Field Service Engineer (Car Parking & Ticketing Systems)

Following expansion they seek to recruit a customer focused and highly motivated Field Service Engineer, responsible for developing customer relationships and servicing and maintaining a range of high value, PC-controlled and networked equipment. The role will involve carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance and fault-finding and repairing a range of electro-mechanical systems and networks utilised in ticketing and payment machines.

Your Background - Field Service Engineer (Car Parking & Ticketing Systems)

To apply you should have experience in a field service engineer role with experience working on electro-mechanical systems. Ideally you will have a technical qualification, such as City & Guilds 224, ONC or HNC. As well as exposure to electronics and electro-mechanical fault finding, you should be familiar working with network systems. Previous experience of working in the cctv, access control or fire alarm industry would be beneficial but is not necessary.
