Temporary Receptionist position. 8-12 weeks, York area.

Your new company
You will be working for a public sector housing organisation in their small office just outside of the city centre. They are currently looking for a temporary receptionist due to the current one leaving to move onto further employment. This is a full time position. Monday to Friday, 9.00 - 5.00pm.

Your new role
You will be based on the receptionist desk of their head office. Your duties will include but not be limited to;
- Meeting and greeting visitors and building relationships with them.
- Ensuring that the reception area is clean and tidy at all times.
- Dealing with general enquiries on email and over the phone.
- Ordering stationary.
- Typing letters and email correspondence.
- Preparing documents, scanning, filing and photocopying.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this position it is important that you are well presented with a calm approach to busy situations. You will need to have excellent customer service skills and be able to prioritise your workload. You will be dealing with confidential information so it is important to be aware and discreet. IT skills are essential, you will be using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.

What you'll get in return
You will be working in lovely offices for a small friendly team in the York area. There is a local bus stop however unfortunately no car parking.

In return you will get paid weekly on a Friday providing you get your timesheet in on time. You will get a dedicated consultant who will assist you throughout the recruitment process and will keep in contact throughout to ensure that everything is going well.
