Are you looking for a new role as a Commercial Strategy and Planning Manager? Are you interested in supporting the overall forecasting, planning and analysis activities for designated stakeholders within the local Business Unit Finance groups? If the answer is yes, this role is for you!

The Commercial Strategy and Planning Manager will be business partnering with various stakeholders. This is an exciting contract position with a global consumer healthcare business based in the Berkshire area.

You will be paid weekly, one week in arrears. The role is full time, 37 hours a week are to be worked.

* Providing direct support to Cluster - Key "Go To" person for finance director/controllers
* Business partnering with various stakeholders
* Ownership of Business plans and forecast updates in TM1 including ensuring accurate and timely submission of data to Corporate
* Business Plan support and analysis - P&L, Balance sheet, Headcount and other key financial data
* SG&A planning - compensation, SMART costs etc
* Data analysis, trend and forecast and actual reporting
* Liaison with counterparts in Transactional COE on Quarter end close including BVA reporting
* General Budgetary responsibility
* Manage 3 members of staff
* This role manages 10 MRCs - Total Business size circa $1.3billion
* Assist in prep of monthly performance deck for Regional reviews
* Review ad-hoc reporting & performance analytics - GP/Price volume/BVA's
* Prep of BP and update decks for key reviews including basic top line commentary
* Review Balance sheet forecasts/headcount/capital etc
* Review standard reporting & performance analytics
* SG&A build directly with local business partners in the CE cluster
* Manage Operational forecast /Rolling forecast including ensuring accurate data passed for annual costing purposes
* Documentation of current processes - SOP's work instructions etc
* Strive for continuous improvement and standardisation whilst working with support from direct line manager and other cluster managers
* Establish and maintain service level agreements and performance metrics
* Monitor SLAs and performance metric operational performance to ensure excellent customer service
* Support recruiting, on-boarding, training of new team members
* Participate and lead as appropriate in status and team meetings including providing updates to leadership

Education and Experience:

* Minimum Bachelor's Degree qualification, with CPA, CMA or other financial certification, with significant post qualified financial experience
* Desirable French speaking
* Strong accounting background
* Knowledge of SAP, Excel and Tm1
* Significant experience of people management
* Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office is required
* Good communication skills with the ability to flex inter personal style appropriate to different levels and stakeholders
* Strong influencer, independent thinking, and strong planning/prioritization are critical to success
* Passion for people development and talent management
* Experience of TM1 is preferred
