Technical Delivery Manager - c.£60,000 per annum - Education/Charity Sector - Guildford

Technical Delivery Manager / Technical Project Manager needed to help drive forward a £40million Digital Transformation Project. Our client is a leading name in the Education sector, providing examination services to millions of people throughout the UK and internationally - there's a very strong chance that you or your family have used their services! This 4-year programme will tackle challenges concerning System Integration, Data Migration, Identity Authentication and Data Warehousing. The environment is more Continuous Delivery than end-to-end project management.

Skills / Environment
Hands on - experience of managing Technical Delivery Teams (developers, testers, analysts etc.)
'Agile Aware' - have awareness and appreciation for different approaches
Data focused - know how to make the most of metrics
Adaptability - ability to work with a range of stakeholders and colleagues
Energy - actions over theories
Tech savvy - have an appreciation of code, even if you can't write it

Role Overview
This role will report to the Programme Manager and will align closely with the Head of Software Development, as well as peers. There will be responsibility for 2 delivery teams, each comprising a team lead, BA, 3-4 developers and a tester.
Travel will be required, with the Programme Team split between Manchester and Guildford.
