An opportunity has arisen to join an expanding FMCG operation located in the Glasgow area, to develop weekly and periodic accounting, reporting and control activities through the use of the Smart Office Manager (SOM) package.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Identify and develop in conjunction with bakery management KPI's for the business.
2. Develop and produce weekly reporting package and variance analysis accurately and within agreed deadlines.
3. Actively participate in and question the standard setting for new and existing product costings including review of existing production methods, processes and procedures.
4. Prepare monthly P&L's for the bakery including, C.O.S report and analysis of sales volume, price and mix variances compared to budget and forecast and reconcile to weekly reports.
5. Track and manage key cost components including ingredients, packaging, labour, overheads and inventory.
6. Actively participate and manage the forecasting and budgeting processes.
7. Support ongoing business needs of bakery management team.
Skills and Abilities
1. Part or Full qualified CIMA
2. Experience within the FMCG environment
3.P&L accounting and reporting experience including variance analysis.
4.Good spreadsheet skills.
5. Experience working with Smart Office Manager (SOM) preferred.
5.Excellent written and verbal skills.
6.Willingness to become actively involved in and question the standard setting process and costings.

This is role is also suited to someone with a few years experience looking for a step up
