GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure the Company's quality policy is understood and implemented

• Recommend new work methods, layouts, processes and equipment to improve performance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Project Manage NPI projects - draft and issue project plans, hold regular team meetings, assign tasks and dates and follow up regularly to ensure these are progressing to plan
• Create, maintain and complete NPDI folder for all new parts.
• To deliver projects to agreed timescales
• Review customer drawings and specifications, production routes, estimate costs and provide customer quotations.
• Conversion of customer drawings to casting, forging, or machining process drawings where necessary.
• Introduction of new technologies or further development of existing processes, relative to cost savings and productivity improvements.
• Initiate and support cost savings and continuous improvement activities
• Ensure that tooling and fixtures are designed to ensure new product meets drawing requirements.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing, quality and sales.
• Ensure all new parts are validated in accordance with the companies validation protocol or customer specification.
• Completes the hand-over to production after delivering a proven robust manufacturing process.
