We are looking for a Clerk to the Governing Body for a client who is within the Adult Education Sector and provides educational opportunities for some of the most dis-advantaged members of society. This role will work part time across 22.5 hours per week.

The purpose of this role is to provide advisory, strategic and administrative support to the Governing Body. To be considered for this role you should have previous experience as a clerk in the education sector. You will need to have an understanding of the legal framework within which the Governing Body functions and the need to work within this framework. You will also need to demonstrate considerable experience of managing committee work including agendas, minutes, organisisng meetings and record keeping.
