TELECOMS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - NORTH EAST£26k - £30K COMMISSION, CAR/ALLOWANCE

I am currently working with a well established and fast growing IT and Communications solutions provider based in the North East. They are looking for a business development manager to join their new business sales team. The role would be to gain new business selling telephony systems. The ideal candidate would have a proven track record within PBX sales and would be open to cross training.


The Business Development role is to work within the new business sales department and will involve the prospecting, relationship development, design build execution and completion of telephony projects. This includes pre-installation liaisoning, preparing a technical plan and executing the plan to completion with customer acceptance. The role will be based out of the office in the North East however you will be required to attend new customer sites that may be out of the North East.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Your main areas of responsibility will include:
· Prospecting new clients
· Self-generate opportunities
· Maintain internal systems (CRM)
· Achieve sales targets

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
· Experience in the design and deployment of telephony products
· Strong understanding of general telecoms technology
