£23,000 - £30,000 (Dependent on Experience/ Qualifications)
Specialist Accountancy Practice recruiters Clark Wood, are working with a highly reputable firm of Chartered Accountants in Darlington who, as a result of continued growth, are seeking to recruit an Accounts Senior to join their team.
The successful candidate will have excellent experience of working in a varied general practice position including Accounts Preparation and Tax work.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for their own portfolio of clients from an array of industry sectors so strong communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Preparation and review of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation of draft Corporation Tax computations
Preparation of management accounts
Review of VAT returns and bookkeeping
Dealing with HMRC correspondence
Visiting clients at their premises
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
ACA / ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified
AAT Qualified/ QBE also considered
Experience of supervising / reviewing work completed by junior staff would be beneficial
Practice experience is essential
