Do you have a sound knowledge of the Freight Forwarding industry, with a keen eye for the European Market? Would you like to support the development of a new business? Would you be as comfortable managing the transport aspect of the European Freight Forwarding business as you would developing the business through seeking new opportunities to grow your client base.

My client needs a new account manager who will take charge of their new European freight forwarding business, someone who has the ability to run the business as though it is their own, who understands the technical aspects of all that is involved in freight forwarding across Europe and therefore the ability to make sound calls when it comes to delivering a quality service at a profitable charge rate.

In order to be a successful Freight Forwarding Account Manager you will have:
  • Experience of working in the European Freight Forwarding industry
  • A keen commercial focus
  • Knowledge of processes involved in facilitating the freight forwarding process across the UK and Europe
  • Proven sales experience in order to grow your client base
I would also be interested in speaking with graduates who are looking for a career within logistics who perhaps don't have the experience outlined above but would thrive in a customer focussed environment which is coupled with a sales focus.
