We are on a mission to be the partner of choice for developing people and their communities. Reed in Partnership is a public service provider specialising in skills training for the long-term unemployed, increasing employment opportunities by working with employers and providing youth services.

What the job is about:

The main purpose of a Schools Engagement Executive is to publicize the National Citizenship Programme to young people, parents and teachers. The Programme is a 4 week course where 16-17 year olds can explore their talents, meet other like-minded students and take part in projects that will build life-long skills.

Your main responsibilities will include:
• Identifying and engaging with key contacts in schools and colleges who are in a position to invite NCS team in for recruitment and promotional purposes
• Following up on expressions of interest from school events and encouraging young people and parents to sign up to the programme
• Assisting in the presentation of NCS and any other educational benefits of the programme effectively to different audiences
• Support the Programme Manager in the day-to-day management of the NCS contract.
