Field based Tactical Account Manager
We are working with our award winning Global FMCG client who are looking for a number of Field based Account Managers to join them in a fulfilling career where you will be pivotal in their ongoing success.
We have locations to fill all over the South so please do look and apply stating your location. This role is for EXETER and you must live within a 30 minute commute.
You will be working in a team orientated environment with strong management and guidance and a fully comprehensive initial training programme on offer.
We are looking for people who want to build relationships and rapport with clients and to become the partner of choice for the brands you represent.
The company in return will offer a generous salary package starting at £27,281 and rising after 9 months to £30,000. In addition there are bonus’s and award schemes. You will have a company car, pension and private healthcare amongst other benefits.
You will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with independent retailers in a specific area assigned to you and the area team. You will also provide support for the Sales Representatives during holidays and absences to ensure continuous relationship management and meeting company objectives and KPIs.
This is a homebased/Field based role and you will be targeted on visit rate, selling products, merchandising and other activity. You will be given retailers who already stock the brand and will NOT be required to look for new business.
On occasion you will be asked to cover a winder area of the region or meet business objectives and this may, on occasion require staying away from home and costs will be reimbursed.
Following intensive training which can take between 8 and 15 weeks to complete (away from home during the week) you will take on a portfolio of around 200 accounts depending on the region. You will build great relationships in order to maximise sales and loyalty - so we are looking for exceptional people who can really drive brand availability.

- A Background in Sales is a distinct advantage however not essential
