National Account Manager - FMCG - £40-48k OTE £60k + Car

The Role: As National Account Manager you will be managing a portfolio of well-established retail accounts in the grocery, DIY and high street sectors. With responsibility for a £7 million revenue budget, the role includes stock forecasting, setting budgets and growing the accounts by dealing with head office buyers. Based in their Midlands offices every Monday, the successful National Account Manager will benefit from working for a hugely supportive organisation which operates globally and shows great innovation in everything they do.

The Company: A genuinely exciting role to join a progressive organisation which has developed market leading status in just under two decades. Our client manufactures smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, offering a strongly branded portfolio. They are now looking to recruit an additional National Account Manager as they have just promoted the current incumbent, a clear demonstration of their commitment to staff retention and development.

For this National Account Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Strong track record of managing national retail or wholesale accounts at head office buyer level
  • Experience of stock forecasting, budget setting and strategic involvement
  • Your work ethic is key - enthusiastic, confident, not afraid to challenge and question
