Digital Co-ordinator - Innovative Charity
Poole, Dorset
£25,000 - £27,000 DOE Plus Excellent Benefits

Want to advance your career with a renowned charity that’s been providing lifesaving services for over 190 years? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. We are in the midst of fast-paced, transformational change that will allow us to save more lives than ever in new and creative ways.

As part of our expansion plans, we are looking for a Digital Co-ordinator to join our Digital Transformation Team at our HQ in Poole.

Without ongoing support, we would not be able to continue our vital work of saving lives and preventing drownings by sharing key information with the public.

In this exciting role, you’ll have the chance to help to keep the RNLI at the forefront of the digital world and ensure that we continue to inspire, educate and save lives for years to come.

As a Digital Co-ordinator, you will help to produce innovative digital products and campaigns that engage our supporters and save lives at sea.

Supporting the Digital Producers, you’ll manage the production process for smaller projects and ensure that they are completed in-line with specifications and to the highest quality.

You’ll advise colleagues on how digital solutions can enhance the charity’s reputation, campaigns and supporter journeys.

Working with internal and external resources, you’ll implement best-in-class online experiences and deliver new website content. Additionally, you’ll provide a high level of administrative support to the Digital Transformation Team

Interested? To be considered, you will need:

- Significant experience of working across multiple platforms, including web, mobile and tablet
- Experience of content management systems, ideally Sitecore
- A track record of working within large and complex organisations, communicating across all relevant levels
- A degree level qualification or equivalent experience

Self-motivated and inquisitive, as a Digital Co-ordinator, you’ll be a confident communicator who is eager to learn and grow your skill-set. You’ll also have a results-driven approach and a genuine passion for all things digital.

Please note, the closing date for applications is 24th July 2017. Interviews are scheduled to be held on 7th and 8th August 2017.

Our staff and volunteers have been saving lives at sea without prejudice for nearly 200 years. We respect and value diversity of background, skills and perspectives within our teams, and consider it essential to help us deliver a world-class lifesaving service. We are an inclusive organisation and welcome applications from everyone. In addition to having the skills needed for the role, we also look for applicants who share our commitment to living our RNLI values (trustworthy, courageous, selfless, and dependable), and helping us work towards our goals of halving drowning in the UK and Ireland by 2024. This involves a growing commitment to preventative action, using our expertise to work in partnership with communities locally, nationally and internationally to prevent drowning.
