This is an exciting opportunity in Ramsgate for a Commercial & Contracts Accountant.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

  • Preparing complex and interpretive financial analyses and reports.

  • Supporting the annual budget process, expense and/or staffing forecasts and statistical reporting.

  • Producing complex financial analyses and reports for department management.

  • Compiling analyses, reports, and special studies for management.

  • Collaborating with assigned organizational unit(s) to develop annual budgets, expense and staffing forecasts, and statistical reporting.

  • Managing and preparing statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis.

  • Coaching less-experienced Financial Analysts.


College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.

Part Qualified or Qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA.


  • Proven relevant experience of finance and analysis is required.

  • Prepare and support development of cost schedules for projects, experience from the construction industry would be desirable.

  • Support the sales enquiry and tender review process

  • Support sales forecast process (synchronised business planning)

  • Lead and participate in commercial contract review

  • Liaise with credit control and treasury as required

  • Prepare and support standard cost schedules / cost accounting related to generator sets as needed to support projects.

  • Lead/participate in improvement projects related to commercial contracts and sales approval for projects

Compensation and Benefits

Salary of between £32-40.5K per annum (dependent of experience)

8% Variable bonus (dependent on company performance)
