A new job opportunity for a talented and passionate LAMP/PHP Developer to join an emerging and hugely innovative specialist tech company in Avonmouth. The business has recently launched a brand new product and is experiencing rapid growth due to the demand for their services. They have highly experienced backers and have secured significant funding. As the business continues to expand the position will offers excellent scope for career development and progression.

Your new role
You'll join a growing technical team and be developing web and product applications for an exciting new tech business, backed by experts in their specialist field. Your chance to really have input and an impact. You will have the opportunity to work on greenfield projects developing products and systems for the business, from design and development through to testing and release, working as part of a small but driven, hands on development team. You will work within an Agile methodology across the full life cycle using your experience of web based systems development and supporting the organisation in become a market leader.

What you'll need to succeed
You should ideally have a relevant technical degree in Computer Science or Engineering, as well as proven, hands on experience as a Back End Developer in the LAMP stack, PHP and JavaScript as well as using Git, SOAP or REST. If you have any knowledge of Laravel, Twillio or MEAN and of working in an Agile environment this would be an advantage. Ultimately you must be passionate and driven about development, a natural problem solver striving to work to your best ability. You'll confidently develop really well designed, efficient, reusable code. You are adaptable, responsive and quick to learn, open to exploring and using new technologies and languages. You will be a confident communicator, able to work in a fast paced environment, happy to take on responsibility for your work, capable of being proactive and working on your own initiative.
