Accounts Semi Senior
£18,000 - £25,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a highly progressive regional firm of accountants in Southport who are looking to add an Accounts Semi Senior to their team.

The position will involve the preparation of year end accounts, management accounts and the associated tax computations for a range of clients including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships from a variety of business sectors.

The ideal individual for the role will have a solid foundation in general practice work and will be adept in the preparation of statutory accounts, as well as bookkeeping and VAT work. The ideal candidate will be AAT Qualified and/or studying towards ACCA/ACA.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations and returns
Preparation of management accounts
VAT returns & bookkeeping
Dealing with HMRC queries
Building strong client relationships


ACA/ ACCA Student/ Part Qualified
AAT Student or Qualified
Experience of working in practice is essential
