Senior C# / MVC Developer - Southport

I am looking to recruit two Senior C# / MVC Developers to join my global client's agile software engineering team based in Southport. Working on IDaaS (Identity As A Service) as part of a scrum team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on best-in-class software products and to become a central player in the future development of our products and processes. The software development team follow an agile development process involving close collaboration with other teams within the business. Team members are also expected to take ownership of the software development process, working together to identify and implement improvements.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development and maintenance of software running on a wide variety of platforms, a flexible, pragmatic, adaptable approach and the ability to learn new skills quickly are essential. The candidate will be expected to contribute ideas and suggestions for solution architecture to enable the best solution.

Skills:


* C#
* .NET (ideally 4.5)
* MVC (ideally 4)
* SAML or XML (preferably SAML)
* Oracle or other relational database

Other skills that are highly desirable include:

* MongoDB or other no-SQL database
* Microsoft Extensibility Framework
* Autofac
* Scrum and experience of working within a team using agile development methodologies
* web service and web UI development, using technologies such as SOAP and the Model-View-Controller pattern
* integrating with SQL and Non SQL databases, e.g. MySQL and MongoDB
* experience of using technologies supporting agile development such as automated testing and continuous build integration
