Female Assistant Service Manager
Sevenoaks, Kent
£22,500 per annum, pro-rata
Permanent, full-time

Our client support people who are living with disabilities, illness or brain injury to live the best life possible.

They are recruiting for an Assistant Service Manager for their service in Sevenoaks. There is a genuine occupational requirement for the holder of this post to be female in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.

The Role
As the Assistant Service Manager, you willWork closely with the Service Manager to lead the staff towards providing a high quality service, motivating and inspiring them, but most importantly, leading by example through your work with the people you support. Your main duties will include

  • Assisting in developing services in accordance to the requirements and aspirations of those that use them.
  • Promoting and role model person centred approaches
  • Promoting and maintaining inclusive community links
  • Assisting with the implementation of the business plan and other strategic objectives within the area of responsibility

The Candidate
To be considered for the Assistant Service Manager position you will have the following experience, skill and attributes:

  • Commercial and Financial Awareness
  • Experience of managing budgets and financial information
  • Sector and specialist experience
  • Knowledge of sector regulatory bodies and their standards
  • Knowledge of sector relevant legislation
  • Level 3 diploma or equivalent experience
  • Good Communicator
  • Management and Leadership
  • Practice Leadership
  • Coaching
  • IT skills
  • Negotiation/Conflict Resolutions
  • Full clean UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
