The Job:
As part of a thriving team you will provide technical, best advice and general support in relation to the products and services offered by the business, in particular around pensions and retirement planning. This will be predominantly to members of the organisation and will be phone based or via email. You may also help create and review technical and marketing literature, as well as offer technical support to our Partners in person. You will also be expected to develop the knowledge and skills of other members of the team, whilst ensuring that your own knowledge remains up to date.

The person:
Essential;

Must be Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
Strong pensions knowledge and experience
Experience of pre-retirement planning and the tax treatment of various products and at retirement planning and the tax treatment of various products
Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills
Strong analytical and technical skills, the ability to manage their own workload to ensure deadlines are met
A good team player
Strong work ethic and sense of personal responsibility

Desired:
Be working towards a higher level of qualification, such as Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
Experience of: State pension provision and Historical pension legislation
Experience of presenting to and training large groups on technical topics
Experience of writing technical literature
