HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

Taking the lead support role in seeking out growth opportunities across the globe to help us enter new industries and get involved in profitable projects. You will play a pivotal role in the sales team especially around lead generation, outbound calls and data gathering.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Revenue: -

o Driving new business - new customers

o METRIC: quantity of qualified leads

  • Prospecting and expanding our existing customer base
  • Making outbound calls to new customers and leads to generate new business
  • Identifying and dealing with key decision makers in potential customer organisations
  • Attending trade shows (as required)
  • Work with Marketing to tailor approach to customers industry and needs
  • Identify potential customers current satisfaction issues
  • Working with social media
  • Capitalising on leads that come in from the Field Sales team
  • Using market data to understand current markets as well as the lifecycle of products to identify future opportunities and market channels / routes to market
  • Effectively communicating of Western Global’s brand / products and services in the market

o Increasing purchase intent of current customers

o METRIC: Increased value of sales ordered

  • Continually reviewing Western’s product features and how they benefit customers (and potential customers)
  • Closing appointments with warm leads
  • General / Administrative: -
  • Back up to International Sales Support Coordinator

o Reporting on performance

o METRIC: % of activity tracked in the CRM (NetSuite)

  • Managing sales activities through CRM Management
  • Using Netsuite (our ERP system) to track opportunities, co-ordinate quotes with other subsidiary offices and departments

o Maximising potential customer interaction

o METRIC: % of weekly time with potential customers

  • Manage your time efficiently and effectively
  • High-levels of phone call, email, face-to-face visits and quoting activities

WHAT MAKES YOU RIGHT FOR THIS ROLE:

Requires Attributes:

  • Proven successful experience in a similar role
  • Fluency in written and verbal English and German
  • A strong understanding and ability to work in line with the departments Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
  • Knowledge of and experience with the use of Microsoft Office®
  • Confident communicator on the telephone and in person
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good attention to detail producing accurate information
  • Sound time management and planning skills
  • High-level of self-motivation, independence and self-reliance

Desired Attributes:

  • Relevant or applicable training/education in sales
  • Relevant sales experience in manufacturing and/or the oil and gas markets
  • A competent CRM user ideally with experience of using NetSuite
  • Language skills
