Financial Planning Administrator
This highly respected central Bristol based financial planning firm, with a loyal and long-standing client-base, who were very much ahead of the curve in terms of offering a fee-based service well before RDR, would like to appoint a Financial Planning Administrator; you’ll be committed to excellent client service delivery and have a real desire to play a key proactive role within a successful financial planning business.
As well as the usual Financial Planning Administrator duties i.e. handling client queries, processing new business, preparing portfolio valuations and liaising with providers and platform companies you’ll benefit from working within a really close-knit team of financial planning and support professionals where there’s a 'no them or us’ environment - where the client is at the heart of all they do; the success of the business is completely down to their people, the way they all interact with their clients and the overall service they provide as a cohesive unit.
Their client service proposition consists of working really closely with clients, using coaching skills, to define clients’ financial life goals & aspirations and then put the appropriate plans, through financial planning advice, in place to help shape that financial journey.
You’ll have gained approx. 4 year’s well-rounded financial services administration experience within an IFA, provider or platform company and have made some progress with your professional qualifications. This position offers you the chance to work towards becoming a Paraplanner as all the support to achieve this will be offered. Applications are also welcome from current trainee Paraplanners who are looking for the next step in their Paraplanning career.
The owner of the business is well-known and respected within the financial planning profession through his blogs on platforms such as Adviser Lounge, Podcasts and general social media and is a real advocate of promoting professionalism within the financial planning sector as well as encouraging the development of younger and newcomers to the financial planning profession.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (dependent on experience and professional qualification levels) plus bonus based on individual and company performance and benefits.
