Software Development Manager
£45,000 - £55,000 per annum + outstanding pension, flexible benefits package, life assurance, staff discount
Based in central Cardiff

Working at a market leading Fin-Tech organisation, this is an outstanding opportunity for a proven Software Development Manager to lead a team of both onshore and offshore Java professional. This highly skilled team work on a number of innovative and business critical applications that will be used by some of the largest financial services organisation in the world. . If you are a people manager and leader within Java technologies and development this could be the perfect opportunity for you to join an international team that pride themselves on the quality of enterprise products that they deliver out of their Cardiff development centre. This is a key role within this organisation that will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to manage a team of 30 + developers, take product ownership throughout the full software development life cycle and will also play a key part in technical roadmap for future products.

Essential experience:

*Strong technical experience within Java J2EE technologies
*A solid understanding and experience of development and architecture.
*Expert knowledge of cloud (AWS)
*Proven experience of managing team of 20-30 high performing technical teams
*Experienced in hiring, growing and managing a highly technical savvy team.
*Proven experience in performance, disciplinary and one to one management
*Understanding of Agile development and have will have managed within an agile environment
*Demonstrable experience of owning a development process and managed effectively

What you will be offered:
