This IT Support Desk Manager role is for one of the largest and most respected brands in High Street gaming and bingo clubs. The brand is synonymous with excitement and best value entertainment.

The purpose of this role is to provide a service which supports the management of the organisations IT infrastructure, hardware and software, across Head Office and all trading locations. You will work closely with the companys system owners/sponsors to ensure the best co-ordination of IT activities.

Ideally you will be qualified in the following: Microsoft MCSE, Cisco CCP, ITIL foundation, setup and support of mobile devices (Android and Apple iPhones), and hold industry certifications which can include A+, N+ and/or MCSE/CCNA.

Key Responsibilities:

* Day to day management and development of IT Engineers and IT Apprentices.
* Reconfigure and prepare equipment including PCs, printers and mobile telephones for all relevant personnel in line with pre-approved guidelines.
* Reconfigure and prepare equipment including routers, network switches, PCs, printers for all venues in line with preapproved guidelines.
* Maintain a database of all equipment and its location throughout the company.
* Firewalls, basic break/fix support/remote hands
* Work closely with German IT Consultants managing Head Office IT Infrastructure and mail system.
* Liaise with voice and data line providers to ensure continuity of services and to identify potential service improvements.
* Liaise with the Income Protection Department, CCTV providers, TITO providers to ensure that connectivity is at an optimum level and that Internal Networks are set up to the standard required.
* Liaise with external providers of IT facilities and services.
* Manage administrative accounts and general infrastructure for IT at Head Office.
* Project manage the set up and installation of IT equipment in new trading locations as they are acquired/opened and co-ordinate the removal of equipment when trading locations are closed.
* Project manage the set up and installation of new IT systems at trading locations and Head Office.
* Ensure all parties involved in ICT projects and IT tickets are well informed with the progress and expected outcomes.
* Ensure security of all networks at all locations.

Key Skills & Experience

* Strong technical support experience, and an enthusiasm for continual learning
* Desktop support of Windows 7 and 10
* Cisco and HP network switch configuration setup and support
* Understanding of Virtual servers : Windows
* Knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP and other networking concepts
* Team & Project Management skills
* Strong problem solving, organisational and prioritization skills
* The ability to work well under pressure
* A proven track record of successful IT project implementation in a fast-moving environment
* Experience of implementing IT infrastructure improvement projects
* Strong customer management and communication skills
* Strong process management skills
* Experience of working in a multi-stakeholder environment across multiple geographies

Your working hours will be Monday to Friday 08.30 : 17.00, and you will be based at the companys Head Office in Milton Keynes. Some weekend work, along with weekend/evening on call hours may also be required.
