Penguin are representing one of the UK's leading consultancies who are looking to appoint a successful and driven Director to the Planning team in their Cambridge office. The role will offer the successful applicant the ability to lead on a range of projects including high profile, bespoke and complex projects in the Housing, Retail, Commercial, Education, Leisure and Rural sectors across the East of England.

The company

The company have multiple offices in the UK and employ a large Planning team who generated over £20,000,000 in planning fees in 2015/2016. Clients include institutions, Local Government, Government agencies, private estates, farmers, and landowners. Having been recognised for their achievements multiple times with award wins you will work alongside a hugely experienced management team providing the following Planning services:

-Applications and Appeals

-Appraisals, Strategy and Team Assembly

-Regeneration and Urban Design

-Legal Agreements and Infrastructure Payments

-Stakeholder Engagement

-Sustainability and Environment

-Sector and Area Specialists

-Planning Policy

Job requirements

-MRTPI, MRICS or equivalent qualification

-Detailed knowledge of the British Town Planning system

-Good experience in managing teams/projects

-Detail conscious, accurate

-Thrives under pressure, can work to tight deadlines

-Team player

-Strives to deliver an exceptional level of service to clients at all times

-Excellent written and communication skills

-Presentable, and with good presentation skills

-Proven record nurturing client relationships and developing new business leads
