Our client is a recognised expert in robotics and in support of continued strong growth, seeks to enhance its core team with the appointment of a Senior Mechanical Engineer.

The company delivers services and bespoke products to clients across a range of industry sectors.

The successful Senior Mechanical Engineer will work with The Engineering Manager and be expected to provide the following functions:-

* Delivery of consultancy services, equipment design and implementation projects.
* Take responsibility for a range of engineering activities concerning the delivery of engineering projects. This will include the specification, design, procurement, integration, commissioning, and development of complex electro-mechanical devices.
* Supervision and mentoring of less experienced engineers.
* Develop and implement work programmes and project plans

The ideal Senior Mechanical Engineer will possess the following qualifications and experience:

The following are the minimum requirements for this post:-

* Recognised degree level qualification in engineering at a minimum level of 2:1
* More than 5 years experience in the design and implementation of mechanical equipment
* Ability to co-operate and work as part of a team
* An excellent working knowledge of English

The following will be beneficial for this post:-

* Experience in the design and development of robotic equipment.
