This market leading Catering Equipment manufacturer is seeking a proven Area Sales Manager to actively develop new business opportunities and manage a range of key distributor accounts. My client is going through a fantastic period of growth and as such looking for new Area Sales Managers to join their team. With a new product range about to be released, this is great timing for an industry sales professional to join.

The Role:
As a Business Development Manager you will identify and create new business opportunities in the south west, but also manage the relationships with over 20 dealers in the region. You will be speaking to all levels of decision maker from MD to Purchasing and Buying departments. You will even be selling to Architects and Designers who will be using our range of kitchen catering equipment to install in new premises. Therefore, you will be selling the full catalogue of products - refrigeration, lighting equipment, and cooking equipment. We are also about to launch a new efficient range of products that will take the market by storm! This is a field based role covering the whole of the South West of England, across to Portsmouth and up to Oxfordshire.

The Candidate:
The ideal Area Sales Manager will have a proven background in working for a catering equipment manufacturer, and selling into distribution. You will be based on patch (the south west) and have a full clean drivers licence. You must be hungry, motivated, and also social media savvy as my client is at the forefront of modernisation.

The Package:
Although the salary package will be negotiable dependent on previous experience, initial indication is base salary of between £30,000 and £35,000 basic, with uncapped £50,000 OTE, plus excellent benefits.
