Are you an Assistant Site Manager looking to join a people-focused housing business in South Wales, with excellent prospects for progression?

As Assistant Site Manager you will be supporting a Site Manager and Project Manager within a business committed to developing its individuals.

You will be working on a high profile regeneration scheme, responsible for delivering multiple apartment blocks up to five storeys, totalling 100 units on metsec frames. This is a fast-paced programme with excellent opportunity to progress to Site Manager.

The successful candidate will need to display a hunger to succeed in site management, thrive off working within a multi-faceted environment, and hold excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management.

Job and Responsibilities

* Support the Site Managers to ensure quality homes are completed in time and on budget.
* Work alongside the Site Manager to manage the health & safety as a priority across site operations, ensuring everyone on site is in accordance with company procedures.
* Excellent stakeholder management - maintain clear and open relations at all times with a positive attitude.
* Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and trades to ensure they are meeting key build milestones.
* Key focus on customer service to ensure quality of build on handover.
* Co-operate and work closely with the National House Building Council (NHBC) to carry out site and plot inspections.

Key Skills and Experience

* Experience of metsec framing systems in a site management capacity.
* SMSTS, CSCS Manager's card and First Aid qualified.
* Able to identify areas to improve build programme without risking quality.
* Excellent knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC and Health & Safety Legislation.
* Ability to drive high performance teams, achieving targets for health & safety, quality and customer service.
* Ability to plan and make decisions, take accountability for, and justify actions; ensuring teams deliver on those decisions.
* A natural and engaging communication style, demonstrating a passion and excellence for developing trusting, sustainable and robust relationships both internally and externally.

An Assistant Site Manager who can demonstrate the ability to play an influential role in delivering impressive results and developing excellent stakeholder relations. Someone who understands the challenges of the housing industry, and is able to drive build programme whilst maintaining safety as a priority.

You will be able to illustrate the ability to lead successful teams, using this role to further enhance your development to Site Manager within the house-building industry, someone who can motivate teams to high performance levels.
