Sewell Wallis are recruiting on behalf of a large business in Worksop for a Cash Allocation Assistant. This role will form part of the Accounts Receivable team and will focus on allocating incoming payments from customers to their respective accounts. This role is high volume and requires a high level of accuracy.

Duties:
- Reconcile customer payments and ensure correct and timely allocation from the bank statement.
- Handling of all interactions received into the Cash Allocation Team ensuring all requests are completed and successfully resolved within the agreed service level.
- Make adjustments to the receivables ledger when required.
- Look for process improvement opportunities for service delivery.
- Work to daily team target set by team leader.
- Process customer debit card payments in line with audit requirements.
- Process refunds on customer credit balances.
- Creating and categorising outbound service requests.

Person:
- Experience in a fast paced environment.
- Experience in a finance related role.

Salary: £17,000 - £18,000
Hours: Full time
