Our client is currently seeking a Project Manager to manage a portfolio of s106 developer led schemes (including the s106 element of schemes delivered by GSH), regeneration projects and mixed use development projects across their area of operation (currently Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire).

This role is part of the RP Development team and the post holder will have a high level of responsibility for managing development schemes and ensuring risks are managed effectively through compliance with procedures and risk management processes.

As required, you will seek sites and buildings for acquisition and development and undertake negotiations to secure development projects including promoting sites through the planning process, securing options and assembling land. Undertaking feasibility studies for housing development schemes, you will also evaluate the financial implications and risk for them, prepare reports and effectively managing budgets, cash-flows and delivery of schemes on time.

The successful candidate will have a degree in related subject and a part or full CIH professional qualification or equivalent, e.g. RICS. A project management qualification and a first degree or final year study leading to major professional qualification or equivalent ability or vocabulary, verbal reasoning and numerical skills to the equivalent ability level is needed. Knowledge of the development industry and house building process and good house builder/developer contacts are also required.

Housing development experience in a management role including commercial and multi tenure schemes is essential along with experience of land promotion gained with a commercial or RSL developer
